A Message from the President and CEO

Citizens of the World (including Clients and Shareholders),

June 28, 2023

I am pleased to express my heartfelt gratitude to shareholders for their generous support. This support is critical as we strive to accomplish our long-term strategic vision to develop New Aloha Development into a more specialized company with a more global presence by 2024. Achieving this "perfect vision" requires not only increasing sales but also supplying innovative products and services based on a detailed understanding of the global markets and trends.

To that end, it has become even more vital that we precisely identify unmet needs and speedily supply products and services that best reflect the needs of customers from around the world. In view of such circumstances, we channel all of our resources into fields such as energy, medicine, land/housing development, minerals, renewable resources, raw consumable commodities, machineries/equipments, building materials, household goods, personal recreational goods, and technology.

We will further enhance our presence and productivity in our

Americas - China business lines, our major transcontinental business segment, and we will also focus on  accelerating the development of our fledgling Southeast Asia business segment, which has shown much promise and progress since 2016.

In these endeavors, we would like to thank involved parties for their unwavering support and ask for your continued support in these coming years.

President and Chief Executive Officer,

刘先生

About Us

Background

New Aloha Development is a mid-sized diversified, privately held American company that is incorporated in the State of New York, United States. It is an American international trading company that has a global presence but a local mindset chiefly specializing in the import and export business. With 25 years of experience, New Aloha Development is undoubtedly one of the most experienced companies in this type of challenging global business.

The company's name was inspired by a 1992 motel that was called "New Aloha Motel" in Seaside Heights, Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. The motel always did well, with the "no vacancy" sign appearing as early as 7pm on a weekday! Since the motel was very successful, its name was kept but later tweaked to include the word "development," because the business had expanded into, well, development.

By 1994, New Aloha Development's assets amounted to $2.9 million USD. The company moved its headquarters from South Jersey to New York City, because Governor Christie Todd Whitman did not do enough in terms of tax reform, so the company headed north and crossed the Hudson River.

In 1996, the company had branches in Qingdao (青岛市) and Shenzhen (深圳) China and assets amounted to $10 million USD. The company's Chinese-English corporate support back office was first located in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong but has since moved to Quarry Bay, Hong Kong because of a 2013 moonsoon that flooded the top floors of the original office in Causeway Bay.

In 1999, the company opened a second Northeastern U.S. office in Dover, Delaware, a few miles from the state's North Atlantic border. This new location opening created 19 new jobs, thereby also assisting the local Delaware economy.

In the early to mid 2000s, the company shifted gears and ventured into unknown territories, particularly product development. The company invested an unspecified amount of capital into a NYC Soho-based consulting firm, which researched and consulted on the following matters: merchandising, brand development, product pricing, brand awareness, and social media marketing. This type of entering the unknown is indicative of how the company was willing to take great risks in hopes of moving the company to a greater direction for the greater good for the company and its shareholders.

From 2005 to 2008, the company was focused on further developing and sustaining its South American presence, particularly Peru. In 2005, New Aloha Development in partnership with a Chinese firm were awarded a $500 million USD credit line that provided the financing for a large-scale  project called "Own Roof," which is a Peruvian development for low-income families. The "Own Roof" housing pilot program was targeted towards homeless or displaced Peruvians, and the program was especially geared towards Peruvians of Inca descent (Amerindian). "Own Roof" was intended to finally provide  these unsheltered individuals with a home that they could finally call their "own roof." The "Own Roof" program also displays New Aloha Development's social awareness of the need for affordable housing. The company is not only concerned about profits but also keenly interested in the well-being of all creatures.

Between 2009-2010, New Aloha Development focused on developing and commercializing the South American natural resources in a myriad of categories, such as produce, edible aquatics, dried goods, and beverages.

In 2012, the company's main office in Lower Manhattan was flooded by Hurricane Sandy, resulting in two months of cleanup efforts. A handful of employees volunteered their time and services at nearby disaster relief centers. Also, the company's Delaware office was providing the main support for the company during the interim of the post-disaster cleanup.

In 2013, the company decided to downsize its Hong Kong-based office due to reduced business activities in the South China region. In 2016, the company refueled itself by hiring talented individuals  who wanted to help shape the course and future of New Aloha Development by leading it into a more secular, environmentally conscious path.

In 2017, the company in partnership with a Chinese conglomerate are exploring the possibility of undertaking a land and lodging development deal with a Peruvian landlord.

More to come...
